The Internationally United Commercial Agents and Brokers (IUCAB) is the worldwide umbrella organisation of National Associations of independent commercial agents (or manufacturers' representatives/agents as they are commonly referred to in the US) and brokers. Today's Membership of IUCAB consists of 18 National Associations. Throughout the EU and North America.

Commercial agency firms are independent professional providers of field sales and marketing services to manufacturers or suppliers. They typically handle a portfolio of related but non-competitive product lines, working under a contractual arrangement within a defined geographic territory on an exclusive basis. In fact commercial agency firms are the manufacturers' sales personnel in the territory paid on a commission basis and as such they are the most cost-effective manner in reaching the market channel.
Commercial agency is therefore an already long time existing solution for manufacturers and suppliers to market their products in countries all over the world keeping overhead low and standardising sales costs.

IUCAB is the worldwide voice of the commercial agency profession and is the leader in promoting the sound development of relations between commercial agents and manufacturers.

Membership of IUCAB is open for National Associations of commercial agents and brokers. Individual commercial agency firms which are interested to join the IUCAB Network should apply for Membership of the National Association in their country which can be found in the Membership List Chapter or by clicking the appropriate flag.
